Performers huddled and looking worriedly off stage

EXÕDE

Ode à l’exode.

Partir. Quitter. Aller, aller seul, aller ensemble.

Un cri d'amour, une nuit de peurs, une vie d'espoir.

Ramasser, amasser, assembler.

Marcher malgré

EXÕDE is a completely nonverbal piece exploring the themes of exile and migration through a physical journey of struggles, discoveries, and the coming together of a group. It was selected for the Mimesis Festival 2016 at the International Visual Theatre, Paris (7th–13th November 2016).

Translation

Ode to exodus. To leave. To depart. To go, to go alone, to go together.

A cry of love, a night of fears, a life of hope.

To gather, to amass, to assemble.

To walk despite
